Art Battle Bristol Grand Final

After 2 years of events, excitement, action and art, the ART BATTLE BRISTOL GRAND FINAL is here

This event will be a massive showdown that lets audience decide who will be crowned Art Battle Bristol Champion and get a spot on the National Final representing Bristol in September with a chance to move on to compete in Tokyo in October 2020.

Additional to the battle itself, from mid-March, Art Battle Bristol will be showcasing works from the 12 winners (studio pieces) at our first pop-up gallery in the Galleries Bristol. Come have a visit, meet the artists and see some amazing art at the Galleries! The winner of the Grand Final will get a solo show for two weeks in April as part of their prize pack in addition to £200 worth of art materials from our sponsors, Daler-Rowney!

It has been an amazing and wild ride to get here. We’ve seen artists with faces covered in paint, artists dancing barefoot and others literally throwing paint at the canvas!

We are also thrilled to announce that a portion of our gross income from the event and the Pop-Up shop leading up to the event and solo show after will be donated to SouthWest Children’s Hospice.

FINALIST ARTISTS
Ian Price - an RWA, Mall Galleries and Holburne portrait prize exhibited artist also paints the Portishead coastline.
Andrew Burns Colwill - Well known muralist, known for his modern themes executed with classical styles and political commentary.
Sophie Galliers - A well known artist who creates colourful expressionist portraits and collaborates in science based art. Exhibits nationally including the RWA and loves commissions.
Liam Callebout - Well known illustrator with a clean style and distinctive mark.
Rosie Caley - Runs her own very successful painter decorator firm that concentrates on interior murals with an eye for colour and landscapes.
Millie Gleeson - Portrait artist who does amazing expressions of feminine power and goddess pieces.
Krystan Grace Sharpe-Young - Skilled and subtle portrait artist who has an eye for details and knack for capturing the moment.
Alice Sims - Paints animals with an eye towards conservation and the wild with a history of learning and understanding of perspective from a family of artists.
Chi Yien-Snow - Amazing landscape and portrait artist who is known for her accomplished appearance on the Sky TV Landscape artist of the year show.
Sophie Long - Accomplished muralist and animal painter best known for her work in raising awareness are the conservation of bees and animal issues.
Luke Edgar - Known for his high detail tattoos and haunting use of black and white to convey moods and ideas.
