Bristol Beacon presents Cass McCombs
On Monday 10th October Bristol Beacon presents American musician and songwriter Cass McCombs live at Redgrave Theatre, Bristol
Cass McCombs crafts striking alt-pop incantations imbued with enigmatic poeticism. For his tenth studio album he brought country singer Wynonna Judd on board alongside the likes of Cactus Moser, Shahzad Ismaily and jazz multi-instrumentalist Kassa Overall.
His forthcoming new record, entitled ‘Heartmind’, continues to expand McCombs’ legacy of sharp observational lyricism and intricate instrumentation. Within his music McCombs distils a wealth of sonic elements ranging from psychedelia, folk and Americana to alt-country and rock, making for a gracefully infectious listen.
