Interstate Express Band March Mini-Tour

The Interstate Express Band have announced dates for a mini tour of the UK this March. Interstate Express is a new band formed literally on the road between an old time square dance in the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee and Mardi Gras in New Orleans. The band is formed of Craig Judelman (USA) on Fiddle and vocals, Jack Latimer (AUS) on guitar, mandolin and vocals, and Joe Buirski (UK) on Banjo and Vocals. The group explore the music of the early American immigrant communities and how various styles and cultures combined to form American Folk Music as we know it today. Expect bangin’ old time dance tunes, murder ballads, early rags and blues, and even the odd Yiddish tune for good measure!
