The Magic Numbers’ Michele Stodart is to headline the Green Note Stage at the legendary Footsbarn Festival as it returns for its annual gathering of artists, performers and musicians - don´t miss it!

Award-winning solo artist, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Michele Stodart is set to headline this year’s Footsbarn Festival in France. The Festival, which has hosted the likes of Sanseverino, Glen Hansard and Hank Wangford in the past, will also include groundbreaking new theatre and live music curated by Camden´s Green Note.  

The three-day event takes place in the Footsbarn Travelling Theatre´s iconic big top tents, and neighbouring fields will host free wild camping for festival-goers. Set in rolling countryside in the heart of the Bourbonnais in central France, La Chaussée (a converted farm) has been Footsbarn’s home since 1991 and has become a cultural hub for Footsbarn Travelling Theatre and their entourage of weird and wonderful theatre acts.

Michele Stodart is best known as bassist, vocalist and co-songwriter of much-loved, double-platinum selling band, The Magic Numbers, with whom she continues to play regularly and tour world-wide. In 2022, she received public recognition for her talent, when she was awarded the AMAUK ´Instrumentalist Of The Year´ award. Currently, Michele is working on her third solo album.

Immy of London’s much-loved venue Green Note has curated two fantastic nights of live music for the festival and, along with the performance from Michelle Stodart, the festival looks forward to sets from the legendary Hank Wangford, Lunatraktors, and Bau Cat.
