Mudchutney offers a print-on-demand service to bands, providing high quality t-shirts and hoodies at no risk or up front cost!

Mudchutney offer a service to small (and large!) bands allowing them to sell clothing to their fan base with no risk. Everything sold through Mudchutney is printed on demand, so that bands can offer every size, colour and style combination at zero risk, because they don’t need to buy anything up front. The team at Mudchutney can even take a band´s album covers and turn them into the shirt designs for that band (in fact they say this is the best part of the job!). Being a print-on-demand company means that no garments are printed until they´re bought. This means there´s no waste, no odd sizes, and no colours or designs being created which then sit in boxes unsold. Everything is shipped directly from the printer to the customer so no there´s no wasted postage or extra journeys, and the printers are a carbon-neutral company who reduce, recycle or reuse all they can, and offset those emissions that Mudchutney can´t. All this makes Mudchutney more environmentally friendly as well as economically risk-free.

All the inks used in printing are 100% toxin free, 100% non-hazardous, totally organic, completely vegan-friendly with no animal by-products and certified as safe for children and babies. The printing method is "Direct to Garment". Ben from Mudchutney explains this:
"the prints are ink-based and form part of the garment rather than being printed on top, so the print feels soft and stretches with the shirt. This means it´s not like some shirts where the design has a kind of plastic feel and is stuck onto the surface. It lasts much longer and feels much nicer."

Most of the T-shirts are 100% cotton and the hoodies are 80% cotton (some polyester is needed to make them hold their shape). Many of the hoodies are already WRAP certified and Mudchutney hopes to extend this certification to the rest of the range.
