Suthering - If We Turn Away

Suthering embark on one final tour to finish their hugely successful year!

Following the release of their debut album If We Turn Away, Suthering are hitting the road again for one more tour before the end of what has been an incredible year.

With stellar performances across the south of the country throughout this year, this unique folk duo is now venturing north for eight intimate and special shows.

“It’s been a whirlwind of a year” says Heg. “We’ve been totally blown away by the response to our album and to our live shows.”

From festival appearances including a showcase with EFDSS at the prestigious Sidmouth Folk Festival; to captivating sell-out shows at well-known venues; to a collaboration with the mighty Songs of Separation (BBC Radio 2 Folk Award Winner) on an island in Scotland, Suthering have put themselves firmly on the map as “ones to watch” on the English folk scene.

Julu reflects on the year: “The feedback we’ve received following the release of our album has been overwhelmingly positive. We’re really excited about this final tour before we take some time off from gigging to work on album number two”
