One of our favourite London folk music venues, The Harrison, is fighting to overcome the recent financial nightmare and reopen on the 1st September. You can help that happen by giving to their Crowdfunder at www.crowdfunder.co.uk/savetheharrison. Your donation will be rewarded! Donations of £5 or more will get you a pint or a glass of wine on your first visit back. Larger amounts entitle you to rewards such as a delicious main course.

Dear Friends
On the 1st September we are going to re-open our wonderful Pub and Live Music Venue, The Harrison in Kings Cross, after being closed for five and a half months. Like many at the moment, we have suddenly found our lovely thriving business and community swept into a precarious position which was previously unimaginable. However, after 15 years of hard work, we aren´t going to let it go without a fight!
To reopen successfully we need your help...
Would you buy a pint in advance?
Even when closed, the building accumulates considerable costs. We have also retained and furloughed all our staff but that is now getting increasingly expensive. Plus reopening requires several days of cleaning and the expense of restocking. Most importantly we want to do everything we can to support The Harrison Family of bar staff, kitchen staff, hotel staff, sound engineers, promoters and musicians.
As you may know, Live Music Venues all over the country are under an unprecedented threat of closure and our Crowdfunder is part of a Nationwide effort by the Music Venue Trust, the guardian angels of the UK´s grassroots music venues. Any money raised beyond our goal will go into the MVT National Fund to saveourvenues.co.uk
